The clock strikes noon, I should be heading out to fill my stomach with nutritious food. Instead, I am day dreaming about a romantic encounter with my perfect someone.

Standing in the midst of the crowd, I fear to take another step further into the hall. I stood still like a timid mouse. My hands were sweating and I was trembling inside. Out of no where, he dashed in and bumped into me. I dropped my books clutched by my wet hands. He looks at me, apologizes sympathetically, “I’m sorry, are you here for the installation?” his gentle words spoke. I stared back at him. I was blank. My tongue was frozen, all I could managed to pull a strength was to nod. “Let’s go in then” and he smiled. I remembered that smile so sweet, the dimples so charming, it caught hold of a special place in my heart.

And so it began my journey of meeting men in my life at the age of 15 years old. I’m a hopeless romantic. 13 years down the road, I still believe in fairy tale stories and romance is for everyone.
I spent my time listening to father reading me bed time stories like Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. All icons begin with “Once a upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess…” and ends with “and they lived happily ever after”. In between the lines, there was of course, “a dashing, young prince to save the day”. In today’s modern society, the courtship and dating journey is far more complex. Having said that, never underestimate the Power Of Attraction. People can do really, really silly things to attract and impress the opposite sex. I’ve done many of my own and I humor myself all the time thinking back of those silly experiences. The irony is, I am still walking that silly path.

I will soon be celebrating my one year anniversary with my dear blog on 25th October. In July, I’ve made a pledge to my loyal readers that I will give away my first earned USD100 via blogging. I am here to fulfill that pledge. However, I’m rather disappointed that there was no response from the readers in stating their wish list to me. Please see here for that pathetic call. Hence, I’ve decided to completely scrap off the goodies giveaway. Instead, I’m giving away my USD100 via paypal if you have a paypal ID, alternatively I’m happy to transfer the money to fellow Malaysians thru Maybank2u . Hang on, there’s a catch.

Keeping the spark in a relationship is hard work, everyone knows that. There are plenty of ways to keep the fire, the burning passion between two person. Romantic ideas to show your appreciation and adoration to your loved one. I have plenty of ways to romance my companion. Sadly not many are appreciative. Anyhow, I feel stupid, silly and stumped thinking back of all the silly things I’ve done to impress a guy. I’m sure the Power of Attraction strikes a deal with everyone. So, I like to hear your sweet, silly, funny story of what you did to impress, court the opposite gender. The story does not need to have a happy ending. Heck, most of the stupid stuff I did, the guy don’t even know about it and the admiration just went into dormant mode. Just send me the gest of your courting action. No perfect English is required. I will rewrite the story for you (names will not be disclosed) and I will publish it for the readers to vote. So, again .. a little response please. This is to mark my anniversary, make it memorable for me.
