A blog that I’ve been faithfully following has disappeared. The blogger has removed the weblink. Just like that ! Without a word of parting, after 2 years, the blogger finally saw no reason to blog anymore. I knew things weren’t working so great. I can tell from the tone of the most recent write up. I tried giving support, showed concern to this stranger. After all, 2 years is considerably a long time. I thought I had some special “rights.” – built on a virtual bond where words were exchanged in the blogging realm.
I was naive and stupid. The virtual world only exists so long packets are sent across the thin wire. Once you unplug everything dissipates.
maybe the virtual world as you had thought was just a long packets sent across thin wire and it is gone when it was unplug.
but i see it as a wonder that people willing to give an idea from their posting even if they know it was probably not going to be read.
connecting on thin wire and the short existence makes things more valuable when it had once exist.
thoughts is just personal thing but when it was shared, i think many thing can happen.
thats a great way to see it in a more optimistic perspective.
I think my thoughts are clouded with my own emotions. I miss that blog. As of the many things that may happen through reading of other's blog, is the emotional bonding created unconsciously.
thank you yinkoon for your response. I appreciate the insight.
