Today, I was granted time. With this time, I read the newspaper. I shrugged reading the local newspaper. These are some topics, I found really disturbing.
1. 2 teachers in Thailand, jailed for raping a 8 year old kid
2. 8 and 9 year old boys went to juvenile prison for raping a 11 year old girl
3. side stories on the 12 year old suicidal case, all because of her bad UPSR results
4. diagnosis on Princess Diana, how her life could be save .. if only ..
The papers just revealed how ignorant, how socially ill the society has become. I felt sad. Depressed at the world we live in now, the respectables have no more morale values. Our hope, our young minds are corrupted. We expect too much and rob our children from their youth. We cast on blame to matters that should be long forgotten, matters that we should just let go. Instead we linger on the grieve and put blame.
Having said that, I struggle to imagine the possibility of an 8 year old boy getting an erection. Puberty doesn’t come for boys until 13 ! What state drove the little one to behave and act out such act?
My first reaction after reading about the 2 teachers, was to punish them by sodomizing them. Truthfully, vengeance is sweet for me. After much thought, I felt sorry for the teachers. Sick minds need help. 50 years in prison for them to repent for mistakes the mind and body committed. A high price to pay, indeed. I sure hope the teachers get medical assistance and be healed. So, they can achieve retribution, and truly be sorry for their disgusting acts. Its pretty useless sitting in jail and still think that you have done no wrong. A “sorry”, an honest, truthful apology will never heal the damage caused to the 8 year old. Its a cruel world.
